This year's Parade features 32 homes across the Madison area, mixing scattered-site homes with classic neighborhood Parade sites. The largest neighborhood cluster is in Kilkenny Farms West, Waunakee. Where is it? Kilkenny Farms West in Waunakee

The biggest neighborhood cluster is Kilkenny Farms West, the newer western phase of Kilkenny Farms on the south end of Waunakee, generally east of County Road Q and south of Woodland Drive. Kilkenny Farms first broke ground in 2014, and the West expansion is where most of the current new-construction activity is happening.

A bit of local history: the land was first settled by Irish immigrants in 1848, which is where the Kilkenny name comes from. Today it's one of the more amenity-rich communities in Waunakee, with an outdoor amphitheater, a neighborhood swimming pool, a park and playground, a community shelter with a brick fireplace, and wide trails built for walking, biking, and golf carts.

Kilkenny Farms West is developed by Livable Communities by Don Tierney, the same group behind Southbridge and Westbridge in Waunakee, so the layout, green space, and overall feel will be familiar if you've toured those neighborhoods.
