Pull the town, village, or city's comprehensive plan to see what's actually planned for that land down the road. The grading. Make sure water drains away from where your house will sit, not toward it. Bad grading now means a wet basement later. The traffic plan. Check if there are any proposed changes to nearby roads or highways. A quiet street today can turn into a busy one fast. Day 17 - ✔️ With dropping Thomas at school, going to the office, doing showings, and Thomas’s 🏈 .. it was an easy day to f it, but I’m not going back to zero. Got it done, and had a great workout.

DeForest home prices dropping 3.7% sounds like bad news if you own a home there. It's not, and here's why. The median sale price in August was $470,000, down 3.7%. But the average sale price was $512,187, up 4.5%. Those two numbers telling different stories is normal. It just matters which one actually applies to your situation. The thing worth watching is days on market. Homes are sitting a median of 17 days right now, 10 days longer than a year ago. Sellers are also negotiating a bit, with the average home selling about 0.84% under asking.
