Today's a big one for me. September 18th is the U.S. Air Force's birthday, this year marks 79 years since it was established in 1947. I spent 18 years serving in Security Forces with the 115th Fighter Wing out of Truax Field, and I couldn't be prouder of that chapter of my life. It shaped who I am, how I lead, and why I do what I do today, including starting Reward Our Heroes to give back to the veteran and first responder community here in Wisconsin. Waunakee homes sold for about 1.65% less than asking price in August. On its own that sounds soft, here's the full picture. Median sales price is down 2.2% year over year, now at $601,000. But average sales price is actually up 4.2%, to $685,068. We only had 19 home sales in August, down 29.6% from last August, and days on market jumped to 29 versus 20 a year ago. One of the coolest things about Southridge is Settler's Park. Not sure what that is? It's honestly one of the best views you'll find anywhere in Dane County. You can see the state capitol from up there, plus the lakes and the treeline in the distance. There's also a big open field if you want to play ball or just let the kids run around. Day 11 = ✅ Excellent workout after a great day. -Celebrated the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital ‘s 75th Anniversary - Talamore Senior Living had a great event that recognized their veteran residents with a wall of honor, and a walk of honor. The walk was amazing, some tears shed. - Randy Hawke - 94.1 WJJO put together a small event for veteran groups to get together, and mingle. It was greeting networking and meeting other organizations. The passion he has for veterans is truley unmatched. - Can’t forget about 🎮 with Thomas after my workout. Day complete.

Sun Prairie's median sales price was down 6.6% in August versus last year. Before anyone panics, here's the full picture. Year to date, average price is still up 4.7%, median sales price is $450,000, and homes are selling about 0.28% over asking. Median days on market is 8. Inventory sits at 2.14 months, still a seller's market (6 months is the line where it flips).
