Every year on the first Sunday of May, communities across the globe come together to recognize the sacrifice, bravery, and unwavering service of firefighters. Here in Dane County, that spirit of gratitude runs deep. From Madison to Waunakee, Sun Prairie to DeForest, our fire departments are made up of everyday heroes who put their lives on the line—every single day.
